Fresh whole wheat pizza dough. Can be store bought.
Fresh tomato slices
Sliced red onion, Portobello mushroom, and bell peppers, lightly sautéed in olive oil
Fresh or dried rosemary or basil
Fresh or oil-cured mozzarella balls, sliced thickly or feta or goat cheese, crumbled
Preheat oven to 450F.
Using a rolling pin, flatten and spread the dough to fit your cookie sheet. Sprinkle cookie sheet with cornmeal (to keep dough from sticking), then place dough on top. Drizzle dough lightly with olive oil.
Add toppings evenly, leaving a 1-inch border of dough showing all around, followed by herbs, then cheese.
Bake in preheated oven for 12 to 14 minutes, until edges are browned and cheese is bubbly.
